About Us

The Corstorphine Trust is a local community association, based at The Corstorphine Heritage Centre (The Dower House) in St Margaret’s Park, Corstorphine.
We are dedicated to the stimulation of public interest in the character and history of Corstorphine and encourage the preservation, development and improvement of features of general public amenity or historic interest. The Corstorphine Trust also plays an important role in safeguarding and forwarding local planning issues.
We are a registered Scottish charity (charity number SC000913) and are non-political and non-sectarian. Membership is open to all who are interested in Corstorphine and its well being. It is administered by an executive committee, elected from its membership.
The Trust organise social events, musical evenings and talks to name but a few.  The live diary on our Room Hire page lists all the different events that take place.  Small publications and items of local interest are on sale. On the upper level of the Dower House is a small local history museum and archive of many things relating to Corstorphine past and present.
If you are interested in taking out a membership you can via our shop or by dropping into the Heritage Centre on a Wednesday or Saturday morning.
